EJ, Founder & Executive Director

EJ is a 7th grader at Harlem Academy and she lives with her mom and her two unique pets, Banana & Myrtle in West Harlem. EJ truly enjoys school and has maintained a spot on the academic honor roll since kindergarten.

 

​EJ decided to start her own non-profit when she was 10 years old and recently received her official 501c3 Status!  The idea came to her when she was handing out warm homemade soup to some people in her neighborhood.  She realized that it didn't matter that she was only 10... she could help make a difference and wanted to encourage her peers to do the same.  Nice Ninjas focuses on spreading love via random acts of kindness.

 

EJ is a two time recipient for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for her work in the community. When Evelyn is not volunteering or busy with schoolwork, she loves to head to minor league baseball games (Go Cyclones!), play dominos or monopoly with her mama, and run on the track at Riverbank.
